Within the context of the hope found in God's story we are joining Him in writing our story. While we cannot control or change every chapter written, we can choose how we live, lead or respond.
"People like to have lived a great story, but few people like the work it takes to make it happen. But joy costs pain." ~ D. Miller
Our counseling technique offers a safe place to do this work and the time to process, heal and grow. While we offer counseling for a variety of issues, those related to depression, anxiety, grief, marriage and family are our primary focus.
Our focus is to help individuals, marriages and families process, grow and heal. We want people to join God is what He is doing in their lives and become aware of their God given strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a personal and Biblically based treatment plan. In many cases, we use cognitive behavioral therapy and have successfully helped many people live lives more fully and joyfully.
We promise to confidentially walk through hard places with you, whatever they might be. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and work to reconcile your relationships. Overall, our goal is to help you join God in what He is up to in your heart, mind and circumstances.
Schedule an appointment by calling 806-688-0096.
Please leave a message for us to return your call, as our office is open by appointment only. Specify in your message if you have a preferred counselor you wish to see and dates and times that work for your schedule. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Prior to your first session, you will be required to complete paperwork that will take 10 - 15 minutes. You may receive this via email before your first visit so that you can complete everything before you come. This paperwork will also explain the counseling process in more detail.
We are in network with several insurance companies and can bill them for you. Out of pocket payment will be required for your co-pay and/or until your deductible are met. Please check into your outpatient behavioral health coverage before your first session. We do not check on your coverage for you so you will be required to pay in full if you do not have proof of coverage at your first appointment. We are not in network for Medicare or Medicaid. However, we are in network as EAP providers for many companies in the Texas Panhandle area.
If you are private pay, you may pay with cash, checks, or debit/credit cards. Reduced rates for self-pay clients are discussed and offered on a case-by-case basis. Check with your church, they may also help with some of your counseling sessions.
We can provide an electronic session via Facetime or phone. We have separate paperwork for these electronic sessions, so please let us know up front if this is the option you prefer. In most cases, we prefer to see you in person for your first session if you live in the area. Insurance does not pay for electronic sessions.
Appointments may be cancelled without a penalty charge if done so within 24 hours before the appointment. If an appointment is forgotten or missed under normal circumstances you may be charged a minimum $25 missed appointment charge, as we will have held this time open for you.
